Scrambling Speedwell
This is a small weed, commonly found in crops and gardens throughout the year as it can germinate in both spring and autumn.
Scrambling Speedwell is a sprawling annual, germinating in both autumn and spring. Its small blueish white flower is a common sight in gardens and crops, growing more quickly on bare ground.
The variously shaped leaves and round stems are hairy.
Scrambling Speedwell is challenging to eradicate as resistant to a number of different herbicides, letting it infest brassica crops.
Paddocks which had speedwell problems in previous seasons benefit from a pre-planting sprayout.
