Stanley takes his job as greeter and morale manager very seriously, sitting on visitors feet until they've assured him that he is a very good boy and thoroughly scratched his tummy.
He is also quite determined to catch a rabbit, excavating quite a lot of the front paddock in the attempt. He doesn't win any awards as a guard dog, but will bark very firmly only when you leave.
Stanley is the only dog I've met who hates rides on the truck. At the ripe old age of 12 he's finally learned how to jump on the back, but he's not going to pretend to be happy about it.
